- Lindsay Anderson of Wilmette, Northwestern volleyball team, completed her 1,000 kill shot in Champaign against rival Illinois Nov.1
North Shore Country Day School was represented at the Class A state cross country finals by one boy and one girl in the same championship meet. Liz Rowley finished 41st overall, and Shaun Teamer placed 128th.
Robert Stineman, 13, from Winnetka, played in the championship tennis match at the 2006 Midwest Junior Indoor Open Boys 14-Under division last weekend in Hartland, Wis. Incorrect information was provided for the recent story regarding former New Trier tennis player Morgan Tuttle's participation in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Midwest Regional Championships. Tuttle defeated Indiana's Stephanie Heller in the first round of singles.
