- Bob Danon christens a new kayak for Kira Arney of Wilmette who died this summer, age 13, of cancer. Danon will kayak around the coast of crete next summer to raise money for pediatric cancer research. He also plans a benefit concert at his Charlie's Coffee HOuse, 1126 Wilmette Ave., late next year.
