- George W. Williams of Chicago, a native of Evanston, died Oct. 26 at Warren Barr Nursing Home in Chicago. He was 88.
Born Sept. 19, 1918.
He married Betty Hardy, his wife of 69 years.
In addition to his wife, survivors include son Robert B. (Mauriel) of Toledo, Ohio; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.
