- Edward N. Koenig has announced his retirement as chairman of Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate. Koenig, his wife Norma, and Norma's brother, Tom Strey, founded the firm in Octobe 1961 in Glenview, Illinois. He is also a co-founder with his son, Tom Koenig, and son-in-law, Chris Eigel, of Windsor Mortgage, Fort Dearborn Land Title Company LLC and Koenig & Strey Insurance Agency LLC.
