- Robert Edward "Bob" Murphy, 75, of WInnetka and Chicago, died Sept. 21 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Mich. Mr. Murphy was born Oct. 9, 1930 in Chicago to George Joseph and Margaret (nee Crohan) Murphy. He was the stepson of Mary (nee McKeating) Murphy. In 1966 he married Elizabeth Shedd. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; and two daughters, Margaret of Chicago and Suzanne (Gary) Heath of Chicago.
