- Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation hosted "Play for the Cure" golf outing June 19 at Shoreacres Country Club in Lake Bluff. The event raised more than $200,000 for the foundation founded in 1985 in memory of Lynn Sage who died of breast cancer at the age of 39.
