- New Trier graduate Elizabeth Blears, class 2004, told science classes about gaining hands-on experience in the lab with researcher Jose Oberholzer of Winnetka in 2005. Blears developed an internship program for high school students, which, she said, would help the research team as well as give students a taste of the medical profession before they enter college.
