- Joseph Schaefgen, 88, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Schaefgen, died April 12 at his home, 1932 Washington Avenue His wife, the late Margaret Schaefgen, died in 1951. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Katherine Rudd of Wilmette, by two granddaughters, Miss Katherine Ann Rudd and Mrs. Margaret Klauke, both of Wilmette, and by one great-grandson.
