- Robert Joseph Ley, 87, of Winnetka died May 29 at his home.
Mr. Ley was born Sept. 29, 1918 in Joliet to James J. and Anna Schuster Ley.
Survivors include three daughters, Ellen Satenstein of Lindenhurst, Caroline (Vincent) Kennedy of Wilmette and Catherine (Peter) Lawler of Wilmette; one son, George M. (Tina) Ley of Mundelein; ten grandchildren, Aaron J. (Heather), Charles and Ryan Satenstein, Peter and Clare Kennedy, Madeline and Grant Ley, and Patrick, Anna and William Lawler; one great-grandchild, Ella Satenstein; and one brother, Marshall (Loretta) Ley.
He was predeceased by his wife, Janet (nee Musselman).
Interment will be private, Saint Mary Cemetery in Lake Forest.
