- Joseph J. Burke, 91, a lifelong resident of Chicago, died May 28 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village.
Mr. Burke was born Oct. 11, 1914, in New York City, N.Y.
He is survived by his sons, Mike (Mary) Burke of Arlington Heights, Jim (Barbara) Burke of Brookfield; grandchildren, Joseph (Julie), Thomas (Nikki), Daniel, Patrick, Michael, Bryan, and Jessica Burke; great-grandchildren Cassidy and Allison Burke; sisters Norine Burke, Veronica DeRose; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy L. Burke; sisters Ann Janssen and Monica Bogardus; and brothers Edward and Peter Burke.
