- Schuessler qualified for the finals at the Eastern Illinois University state track meet with a finish of 8th in the state with a 5:04 mile run. Also running were the 4X400 relay team of Kathleen Collins, Katie Schneider, Brittany McCoy and Kelly Block. The team did not advance to the finals.
