- At last weekend's Evanston sectional, Loyola finisihed second to New Trier while qualifying three players to the state meet for the first time in school history. Players mentioned include Mark Maciuch who defeated New Trier's Adam Warshawsky and James Ong . Loyola's top doubles team also won a sectinal title with theri championship match victory over New Trier's Ross Anstaett and Sam Stone. Juniors Jared Marcell and Tom McDonell won over Austin Shoup and Ian Fisher of New Trier to reach the finals.
