- Mary Shipp Harvey, 92, of Evanston died May 6 at Rush North Shore Medical Center.
Mrs. Harvey was born Dec. 9, 1913, in Oxford, Miss. She married Bishop Harvey Jr. in 1936.
Survivors include her husband, Bishop; one brother, Gilbert Shipp of Oxford, Miss.; one sister, Latisha (Hubert) Sallis of Chicago; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services were held May 12 at Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church in Evanston.
Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie.
