- The Wilmette Theater, owned by Richard Stern since 1966, has been purchased by partners, Carole Dibo of Wilmette and Sam Samuelson of Evanston. They plan to run movies, both first-run and art pictures--in one of the two theaters, and book live acts in the other. They've hired Nova Cinemas of Sandwich, Ill., to help them manage the operation
