- Mrs. Edward H. Elwood of Chicago, regent of Fort Dearborn chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, placed a wreath in the Fort Dearborn Day ceremony on August 15, at the Michigan avenue Link bridge. Wreathes from many patriotic organizations in the Chicago area will be left at the site for three days.
