- Mrs. Sophie A. Porter, 85, formerly of 833 Chestnut Avenue, Wilmette, died Friday of last week in Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Place of interment was Irving Park Cemetery. A son, Edwin M. Porter of 833 Chestnut Avenue survives; also a sister, Mrs. Augusta Giesebrecht, and a brother, Oscar C. Marggraf, both of Chicago.
