- Evelyn C. Rakow, 86, died Sunday in her Northbrook home.
Mrs. Rakow was born July 29, 1919, in Wilmette.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Lester; two daughters, Christine and Barbara (Dale) Pughsley; one son, Tom; four grandchildren, Tim, Christopher (Grace), Scott and Kevin Pughsley; three great-grandchildren, Devin, Jake and Charles Pughsley; and one brother, William (Loraine) Thalman.
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul (Judith,) and five sisters, Florence, Elizabeth (John) Rosemark, Bernice, Lucille (Zenon) Skar and Mildred.
Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
