- John D. Galbraith, 86, of Wilmette and formerly of Winnetka, died Feb. 11 in the Midwest Palliative and Hospice CareCenter in Skokie.
Mr. Galbraith was born on Nov. 2, 1919, in Evanston.
Survivors include his wife of almost 60 years, Angeline Johnson Galbraith; one daughter, Angeline Galbraith Brown of Northfield; one son, John D. (Vicki) Galbraith of Winnetka; five grandchildren, Angeline (David) Leonard, Foster Brown, Whitney Brown, Jessica Galbraith and Ian Galbraith; one sister, Louise (Fred) Dierks; one sister-in-law Joan Bokum; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Feb. 15 at Christ Church in Winnetka.
