- Ruth A. Siebel, 91, a 25-year resident of Northbrook and former 40-year resident of Wilmette, died Jan. 23 in Michealsen Health Center, Batavia.
She was born Ruth Schmid July 23, 1914 in Chicago. Survivors include a daughter, Frances Cihak of Grass Range, Mont.; 6 sons, Richard of Northbrook, James of Rockford, William of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Robert of Northbrook, Thomas of Woodside, Calif., and John of Santa, Idaho; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur.
A memorial service was held Saturday at the Lutheran Church of the Ascension. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.
