- Holocaust Memorial Foundation of Illinois held its Humanitarian Award Dinner Nov. 16 in the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The event commemorated the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Nuremberg Trials. Jack S. Levin of Winnetka was honored for his work with the law firm Kirkland and Ellis. The event featured a discussion between veteran television newsman Walter Cronkite and Bill Curtis about Cronkite's experiences as a young reporter covering the trials.
