- Interview with Village President Chris Canning on what lies ahead for the village in 2006. The village's top priority is to provide the services and maintain the infrastructure of the Village. To keep property taxes low sales tax revenue must be increased. The Village Board will act on the recommendations received from the business development studies of the villagewide marketing survey, work with business and property owners in the redevelopment of key parcels in the Village, look at possible changes in the liquor code, find a new tenant for the Depot.
