- Northbrook contractor Fred Resnick was convicted last week of defrauding a customer. The Illinois Attorney General's office has sued Resnick for about $3 million in damages based on about 90 MoMax customers' complaints. Resnick could be sentenced Jan. 17 to as much as five years in prison for each crime, or as little as probation.
