Spiros Olivieris of 2305 Thayer St. in Evanston worked two jobs; from 6-11 a.m. as a custodian at the Wilmette Public Library, and from 3-11 p.m. as a cook at Denny's restaurant in Prospect Heights. Mr. Olivieris was on his way home March 14 on his moped when he was struck from behind by an automobile in the 2600 block of Lake Av. in Glenview. He died March 25, two days after his 48th birthday. The driver of the car, John Beck, 23, of Glenview, has been charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and possession of marijuana. Two Denny's employees, a regular customer and Bob Franke, the Wilmette Library's head custodian, were pallbearers. Mr. Olivieris was born in Patras, Greece. He is survived by his wife, Sandra.
