- More than 500 people attended "The Art of Fashion" SEpt. 29 marking the 79th annual LUncheon and Fashion Show sponsorec by the Winnetka Board Northwestern University Settlement. Held in a tent on the grounds of the estate of Dawn Meiners in Winnetka, the event was chaired by Lindsay Gorman and Margaret Herrmann, both of WInnetka. Fashion commentators were Christ Castino of Wilmette and Janet Van Zuiden of Winnetka. Anne Mueller of Wilmette is president of the Winnetka Board. The event raised $95,000 for the Northwestern University Settlement.
