- The Modernism Show opened at the Winnetka Community House with a preview party Nov. 4 attended by more than 400 people. Guests were able to get the first look at furniture, paintings, metalwork etc. created between 1890 and 1970. The show raised $75,000 to support the services of the Winnetka Community House.
