- Third annual "Shower of Roses" dinner-dance to benefit the cloistered Carmelite Sisters in Des Plaines will be held Saturday. Working on the benefit are Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Brelos and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Marais of Northbrook, and Mr. and Mrs. John B. O'Connor, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Culkin and Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Csar, all of Wilmette.
