- Gordon Douglass Howard, 89, of Glenview, formerly of Wilmette, died Friday in Hyatt Healthcare Center, Glenview.
Mr. Howard was born Aug. 4, 1916 in Pueblo, Colo. In addition to his wife of 65 years, Eleanor, nee Mason, he is survived by three daughters, Meribeth Cooper, Martha Petrie and Miranda Haddock; a son, Paul Samuel; and their families which include nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Peter Mason.
