- Edgar J. Smith. 48, of 906 Greenleaf Avenue, Wilmette, died October 5 at the Evanston Hospital. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wis. Mr. Smith was born in Fort Atkinson. A former Evanston resident, he had lived in Wilmette six months. He is survived by his widow, Alice M.; three daughters, Barbara, Patricia, and Kathryn; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Smith of Fort Atkinson.
