- Elizabeth Alma (née Monter) Heldt, 33, of Vernon, N.Y., formerly of Wilmette, died July 29 in Evanston Hospital after a long illness.
Ms. Heldt was born Oct. 6, 1971, in Chicago to William Monter of Wilmette and Barbara Heldt of Bass Harbor, Maine, and Oxford, England.
Survivors include her parents; her step-mother, Rosellen Monter of Wilmette; two step-fathers, Bertrand Rice of Chicago and Gerald Smith of Oxford, England; her brother, Gustav Heldt of Saugerties, N.Y.; her sister, Andrea Monter of Baltimore, Md.; three step-brothers, Philip Kaplan of Chicago, Brian Kaplan of Algonquin and Ian Smith of England; and one step-sister, Gillian Smith of England.
