- Kohl Children's Museum in Wilmette was transformed into a casino the evening of May 21 as 275 guests attended "Champagne Wishes and Diamond Dreams" The party raised $56,000 in support of the museum's new facility at the Glen in Glenview scheduled to open in October. Shelley Shelly of Wilmette was chair of the event, with support form Kerry Satterwhite of Kenilworth, Stephanie Gabriele of Evanston, Kristy Tarantino of Glenview, Jennifer Devine of Glenview, Laura Carlson of Wilmette and Christy Guyer, manager of the museum's annual fund.
