- Wilmette residents and workers who were in the VIllage Center Friday heard the gunshots as Richard Kahle fired toward C.J. Arthur's killing Candice Sepheri and wounding her daughter. Witnesses included Mary Mathie, Elvis De La Puente, Josef Puehringer, Art Falzer, and Mike Lowkis.
