- Virginia Lydia Riley, 93, a resident of Glenview, formerly of Kenilworth, died last Thursday, April 21, at home.
Mrs. Riley was born Aug. 30, 1911 in Chicago to John Albert Helstrom and Lydia Mae Buschick Helstrom.
Survivors one daughter, Nancy (William) Malicki; one son, Thomas (Silvia Pozarnsky); six grandchildren, Sarah Malicki, Diane (John) Gavin, and Christopher (Gwendolyn), Karen, Lisa and Laurie (Andre) Welch; six great-grandchildren, Thomas Gavin, Riley Johnson, and Cleo, Jonna, Logan and Payton Welch; two nephews, Bernard (Sandra) Grung and Edwin (Donna) Helstrom; and three nieces, Sandra Grung, Jacqualine (Ronald) Hayes and Sonja (Brian) Wickland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E.; one son, Richard; her parents; one sister, Jeannette Grung; and two brothers, John and Edwin Helstrom.
Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.
