- Emily Margaret Lumpp and Michael James Horvath were Married Aug. 7 [2004] in a ceremony at Christ Episcopal Church in Winnetka with the Rev. Edward S. Prevost officiating and the Rev. James DeCapite, the groom's uncle, assisting. The bride is the daughter of Susan and Roger Lumpp of Northfield. The bridegroom is the son of Joan and Michael Horvath of Okemos, Mich. The maid of honor was Lisa Lillich of Grosse Point Woods, Mich. Daniel Horvath, the groom's brother of Chicago, was the best man. The bridesmaids were Shannon Bode Butler of San Francisco, Sally Rosenthal Dix of Des Moines, Iowa, Lara Golubowski and Susan Horvath, the groom's sister, both of Chicago, Jennifer Gorecki Knapp of Littleton, Colo., Samantha Lumpp, the bride's cousin, of Dallas, and Holly Miller Rocheleau of Sterling Heights, Mich. The groomsmen were Bernie Chung of Phoenix, Brett Grossman of Royal Oak, Mich., Song Su Kim of Lansing, Mich., Roger Lumpp, the bride's brother, and Jason Pohlonski, both of Chicago, Doug Marschke of San Francisco, and Blair Richards of Seattle. The ushers were Patrick Dix of Des Moines, Iowa, Daniel Hoyt of Orlando, Fla., Timothy Payne of Marlborough, Mass., and Ryan Volz of Okemos, Mich. The couple reside in Evanston.
