- Mrs. Frances Mowers of 123 Custer Street, Evanston, died Tuesday, June 12 [1949] at home. She was 97. Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery in Waukegan. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Belle Mowers of Hinsdale, and Mrs. Ruth Armstgrong of Evanston; one son, Howard Mowers of Hinsdale; three grandchildren, Mrs. Muriel Roskan [unclear], Mrs. Harriet Hibbelet [unclear] of Evanston and Howard Mowers, Jr. of Hinsdale; and three great-grandchildren.
