- Stella B. (nee Koller) Engels, 84, a resident of Wilmette, died Feb. 4 in her home.
Mrs. Engels was born on May 1, 1920 in Gross Point, Ill. and resided in Wilmette most of her life.
Survivors include one son, Tom (Lynn) of Lombard; three daughters, Mary (Richard) Meneghello of Wilmette, JoAnne (Nick) Peters of Glenview, and Susan (Mike) Pinkowski; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby (Robert) Winter of Northbrook; and one sister-in-law, Gladys (Ed) May of Oceanside, Calif.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anton M. "Tony" Engels; two brothers, Ray and Al Koller; and one sister, Pearl Koller.
A funeral Mass was held Monday, Feb. 7 at St. Joseph Church in Wilmette.
Interment was at St. Joseph Cemetery in Wilmette.
