- A re-bidding of Cook County's contract for automated processing of property tax payments will affect where taxpayers pay their first installment taxes due March 1. The county's contract with LaSalle Bank ends Saturday, and taxpayers wishing to pay their taxes in person now will be directed to a branch of Bank One including the one at 1200 Central St., Wilmette.
