- Esther (nee Kolb) Probis, 97, a resident of Chicago, died Nov. 29.
Survivors include her daughter, Marsha (Richard) Newman; two grandsons, Daniel (Maura) Newman and Jeremy Newman; three great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Clare and Timothy Newman; and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by the late Lester Kolb and Jeannette Gordon.
Interment was at Rosemont Park Cemetery in Chicago.
