- Gladys Schmidt Warren, 89, a resident of Wilmette, died Oct. 26 in Alden Estates of Evanston.
Mrs. Warren was born Sept. 9, 1915 in Evanston to William and Bertha Schmidt.
Survivors include one sister, Phyllis (John) Cossarek of Wilmette; three brothers, Edward (Dolores) Schmidt of Glendale, Ariz., Harold (Marion) Schmidt of West Allis, Wis. and William (Darlene) Schmidt of San Marcos, Texas; her nieces and nephews, Linda Graham, Mary Lynn Cossarek, Connie Mills, Susan Jackman, John Cossarek, Jr. and Diane Baker; and her great nieces and nephews, Christina, John, Whitney, Kevin, Alex, Alyssa, Sarah and Nick.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Warren; her parents; and her sister, Amelia Weiss.
Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie.
