- John Gordon Munro, 66 years old, passed away on Christmas day at his home, 1119 Elmwood avenue, Wilmette. Born near Aberdeen, Scotland, he came to the United States in 1890. Services were held on Monday afternoon at the First Congregational church, Wilmette. Mr. Munro is survived by four daughters, all of whom live at the Elmwood avenue home. They are: Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson, Mrs. Pearl Smith, Miss Catharine Munro, and Miss Jean Munro.
