- Robert Hoffmann, 1756 Highland Avenue, Wilmette, passed away last Saturday at the age of 60. He was general manager of Hoffmann Brothers Department Store, 1836 Wilmette Avenue, Wilmette. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Philip Hoffmann, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; a daughter, Phyllis; and by three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Baynes, 1933 Central Avenue, Wilmette; Mrs. Julia Dunning, Evanston; and Mrs. Marcus Mick, 1762 Highland Avenue, Wilmette. He was the brother of the late Mrs. Daniel Riley who formerly lived at 512 Ridge Road, Wilmette. Interment was at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Northbrook.
