- George C. Bugelas, 84, a resident of Wilmette, formerly of Evanston, died Oct. 5 after a battle with myelodysplasia.
Mr. Bugelas was the retired owner of Peacock Ice Cream Company.
Survivors include three daughters, Cleopatra Alexander, Patrice Brandt and Christina Novak; and seven grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Katherine G. Bugelas.
Services were held Friday, Oct. 8 at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Chicago.
Interment was at Memorial Park in Skokie.
