- Mathias (Matt) Borre, 835 Forest avenue, Wilmette, died suddenly January 14 [1947] of a heart attack in his home. He and his wife, Frieda, lived most of their 38 years of marriage in Wilmette. Mr. Borre was born 60 years ago in Evanston. Survivors, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Mrs. William S. Meyer of Wheaton; a grandchild, Stephen Meyer; a brother, Lawrence Borre of Evanston and a sister, Mrs. Henry Flynn, also of Evanston. Interment was at Memorial Park cemetery.
