Mrs. Dora M. Von Glahn, 68, one of Wilmette's pioneer residents, died at her home, 1114 Lake avenue last Saturday. Mrs. Von Glahn was born in Pleasant Prairie township in Wisconsin on the present site of the new town of Chiwaukee. Forty-one years ago Mrs. Von Glahn and her husband moved to Wilmette from Chicago, where they had lived for some time after their marriage. Mr. Von Glahn died thirty-two years ago. The home where Mrs. Von Glahn first lived in Wilmette is still standing at 1112 Central avenue. Funeral was held at St. Augustine's Episcopal church Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. The Rev. Hubert Carleton, rector of the church, officiated. Burial took place at Kenosha, Wis.
