- Ethel E. Van Kirk, 84, a former Wilmette resident, died April 16 [1989] in Three Lakes, Wisconsin. She is survived by a son, Richard D. of Three Lakes; and two grandchildren, Capt. Steven Van Kirk of Berlin, Germany, and Ensign Nancy Van Kirk of Great Lakes Naval Hospital; and a brother, Donald F. of Waukegan.
