- Phyllis G. (nee DeLand) Blodgett, 79, a resident of Northfield died Aug. 23 at the Hospice of the North Shore in Skokie.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles; her three daughters, Marilee (Brian) Backstrand of Bristol, Wis., Elizabeth (Jonathan Don) Blodgett of Northfield, and Nancy (Rick) Klein of Palatine; her son, Paul Blodgett of Poulsbo, Wash.; her nine grandchildren, Brenna, Sean, Jennifer, Jessica, Ariel, Rebecca, Benjamin, Alex and Andy; one great-grandchild, Samuel; and her sister Ruth (Howard) Loos of Clearwater, Fla.
Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Church of the Holy Comforter, 222 Kenilworth Ave., Kenilworth.
