- Mrs. Katie Jones of Wilmette died suddenly on Monday, November 30 [1942] Interment took place at Memorial Park Cemetery. A native of Ironton, Ohio, Mrs. Jones was 77 years old. Two and one-half years ago she moved to Wilmette and at the time of her death lived at 106 Fourth Street, where she and her daughter, Miss Phyllis Jones, made their home. In addition to Miss Jones, she is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. M. W. Zabel of Wilmette and Mrs. Fred Beyer of Crab Orchard, Kentucky., and one son, Morris W. Jones of Louisville, Kentucky.
