- Agnes J. Bauer, 90, a longtime resident of Wilmette, died January 3 at her home. Mrs. Bauer was born in Chicago but grew up as a child in Dublin, Ireland. Besides her daugher Ida, Mrs. Bauer is survived by six other daughters, Anne Teichert, Janet Miller, Margaret James, Mary Lou Lumpp, Sister Yvette and Sister Nila, both nuns of the Sisters of St. Francis order; two sons, Walter Bauer and Jack Bauer; 23 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren. Burial was at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
