Mr. John J. Underwood died June 29 at Evanston Hospital. He was 94.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iris.
Other survivors include daughters Rev. Nancy Mattick of Evanston and Joan (Robert) Mattick of Phoenix, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a nephew and many friends.
