- Jean Wescott Marshall, a resident of Lake Forest, formerly of Wilmette, died July 5 after a battle with Parkinson's disease.
Survivors include her former husband, James B. Hurd; three daughters, Barbara (the late Clarence) Hurd Marquardt, Anne Braddock McElveen, and Janet (Dale) Hurd Armstrong; five grandchildren, Ray and Meredith Majesty and Emily, Caroline and Wesley Armstrong; her caregiver, Jennifer; and many friends and caregivers at Lake Forest Place.
She is predeceased by her husband, William J. Marshall, Jr; and her parents, James B. and Mary Hotchkiss Westcott.
