- George M. Spadea died April 22 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chicago. He was 81. Mr. Spadea was born in Brockton, Mass. Mr. Spadea owned "Flowers by Collette" in Wilmette for 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Celeste; stepson Jack Ricci of California; a brother, Jim; 10 step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. He was also the father of the late Peter Ricci. Funeral mass was said April 25 at St. Philip the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Northfield, and interment was at All Saints Cemetery.
